This has been a crazy month at work with all sorts of changes and with all of this I've been absolutely exhausted! Lucky for me I got to take a little Vaca with my Spencer!!

Spencer's little bro Chad was graduating from middle school so we went to join the family for the celebrations!! Here's just a few pics to highlight the trip.

The trip was too short but we had a great time! While I was there I also got the chance to have lunch with my Grandparents! I have a new love for Northern California! We were so sad to leave but grateful for the time we had. Thanks so much to Mom/Connie for taking care of us better than anyone should! Thanks to Dad/Ed for keeping Spencer in line and telling us when to go to bed :). Burdett's you're just great! We love you and miss you!!

Memorial Day

I had an AWESOME memorial day weekend!! One of my best friends, Lisa, came down to visit southern California with her roommates from Idaho and I was graced by her presence for the WHOLE WEEKEND!

We had a so much fun! I set her up on a date with my friend Mikey and Spencer, obviously came along with me! We went down to Mission Beach rode the Giant Dipper roller coaster and walked along the boardwalk for a while.

-- Highlights of the night--
1. When the roller coaster stopped before our ascend to the top.
2. Watching a cop car in pursuit of an idiot driving down the boardwalk.
3. Three girls screaming from their beach house of how wasted they were.
4. Dancing outside of Canes with Spencer like drunken idiots.

The next day we drove up to LA and met up with Lisa's roommates and slept the night before driving up to 6 Flags the next morning. It was Spencer's first trip to 6 flags and I was so excited to share one of my favorite places with him!! My mom got a bunch of cheap tickets from her work but Spencer and I got the best deal of the day!! We got $10 tickets! It was awesome!!! We rode a lot of fun coasters, but the highlight of the day was X2- as usual. I LOVE ROLLER COASTERS!! And X2 is the best. Every time I ride it I get so nervous/ excited like i've never ridden it before! My favorite part of the ride was hearing Spencer scream like a girl the ENTIRE time!

Meeting the FAMBAM!

A few weeks ago Spencer and the opportunity to go up to DisneyLand and meet up with his family for the weekend! We had such am awesome time!! The Burdett's are some fun people! We got hopper tickets so we got to play at both parks for two days! It was AWESOME! Spencer's ADORABLE little niece was the highlight of the weekend. I'd never been to Disneyland with a little one and They make the experience so much more fun, being in Fantasy Land and seeing all the characters how EXCITED she would get! I LOVE IT!! All in all it was such a great time. I was so excited to finally get to meet Spence's family, it helped me to know just that much more about him!

7 Truths

I am a shopaholic. It is a problem. I love the feeling of bringing a bag of new clothing home!! I go through fazes of buying a lot of one thing. For example: I have over 30 swim suits that i bought at least half of them in one summer, also I had an obsession with random colored sneakers... followed by scarves, then v-necked shirts, duvet covers, necklaces you name it i've obsessed over it.... its bad.


I will only buy designer jeans. 7 For All Mankind to be exact. I hate buying regular jeans. They don't fit right, they don't hug my bum bum the way i like. And they last forever. If you get a hole after 2 years or wear and tear take them to Nordstrom, they'll fix them or replace them. MONEY! However I'll be honest and this right here is the secret..... I have never spent more than $100 on any of my designer jeans... Resale shops save my bank account!!


I eat my M&M's strangely... I arrange them in color and numerical order. For instance, say I have 6 blue, 4 green, 3 red, 1 yellow and 1 brown. I will eat them in this order Brown, Yellow, Red, Green, then Blue. I eat them in numerical order UNLESS i have more red then blue. I always eat the blue's last no matter the number. Weird I know.


I enjoy reorganizing my room. Everything in my room has a place, even though my dirty clothes end up on my floor in the end. My closet is color coded, shirts and blouses grouped, skirts grouped, sweaters and jackets together. Shoes are also color coded. In my drawers my tanks are grouped first by style ie wife beater style, basic undershirts, then decorative tanks, then in those groups they are color coded. Same goes with my t-shirts. V-necks with v-necks, crews with crews and then arranged by color. Shorts, pj's, and so on...... my dream is to have a walk in closet to be the largest room in my house. Big big dream.



I LOVE ripping hair off of people's bodies!!! Seriously! Waxing is like my favorite thing to do. There is just something about having a hairy body come in to my treatment room and having them leave hair free!! Its like instant results. I love it.


I am best friends with 24 hour fitness! I love going to the GYM!! It's seriously the best feeling. I just grab my Itouch put in my headphones and rock out for an hour or two. Some times I catch my self singing along to the songs and dancing just a little bit. I hope my gym-mates enjoy that little performance!! I used to hate the treadmill, but now we have reconciled and we are taking our relationship to the next level. Stretching is my favorite part of my workout. I will stretch for about 15 minutes. I love the feeling of being flexible and elongating my muscles. I put on the slow jams for that and there's no place i'd rather be than right there on the mat!


I am IN LOVE!!!! okay so this may not be a secret to all of you..... but lets be honest we were all kind of worried this wouldn't happen after that one guy..... yeah we all know who he is! I'm finally over the hurt and the confusion i had for so many years and I am fallin for the best man I could have ever even made up in my mind. He's just a picture of perfection! I'm the luckiest girl in the world!! Spencer Alan Burdett is such an amazing man. I'm so grateful for him. He has taught me so much about who I am, who I can be and what I've always been worthy of! Man I'm a lucky girl!

Too Long.....

LIFE UPDATE!!!!

After I moved to Utah in October I had a lot of trouble finding a job so I decided I'd move home to San Diego. Something I told myself I'd never do! So I called my mom and she bought a plane ticket and two days later I packed up the civic and I was on my way home. I had every intention of getting a job at home and saving money so I could go back to Utah 6 weeks later, just after the new year....


Things didn't go to my plan..I didn't end up finding a job until January 3rd! So I started working at a clothing store called BluWave. It wasn't my ideal job but it was enough to pay the bills... I was getting very restless being here in San Diego and I had thoughts about moving to Arizona where the Spa Industry is booming! So I started looking for jobs and housing and the last week of January i had made a final decision to move to Arizona in June. Then it happened.... A friend of mine asked if she could set me up with her friends cousin, I graciously accepted. Why not right?! Well what I didn't know is my life would change that night!! We all met at the Cheesecake Factory (YUM) and then things just kinda clicked. We left everyone at dinner and headed to a dance, then we ended up talking for hours. From then on we've been inseparable.


Spencer and I have been dating for just over a month now and we are enjoying every moment we have together. He and I both just started new jobs last week, this is keeping us busy so we've make the most of anytime we get to see each other. I am now working at a Spa in Hillcrest called The Beauty and Body Lounge. Its a lot of fun and I'm grateful to be back in a spa! I'm a receptionist right now, but I finally decided to sign up for my California State Boards so I can get my Esthetic's License and start doing what I love again!! Spencer got a job as a technician for a Jason's Pest Control. He is loving his new job and I know he will do great!

About a week after Spencer and I started dating we had a new addition to our little family. My friend Erin has known I've been wanting a puppy for years and she let me know her mom's neighbors were giving puppies away. We went just to look and I instantly fell in love with Maxamillion. He was the runt of the litter, but man he was a fireball! We took him home and let me tell you I was scared of what mom and dad would think. Mom fell in love with him instantly! It took a little convincing for dad but now they're best buds! The first few weeks he was very dependent and he slept with me every night. He's growing so fast and he's got the cutest little personality. He is biting like crazy and I'm looking forward to when his baby teeth fall out and he's no longer a terror, but he can be the sweetest little thing!!
