After I moved to Utah in October I had a lot of trouble finding a job so I decided I'd move home to San Diego. Something I told myself I'd never do! So I called my mom and she bought a plane ticket and two days later I packed up the civic and I was on my way home. I had every intention of getting a job at home and saving money so I could go back to Utah 6 weeks later, just after the new year....
Things didn't go to my plan..I didn't end up finding a job until January 3rd! So I started working at a clothing store called BluWave. It wasn't my ideal job but it was enough to pay the bills... I was getting very restless being here in San Diego and I had thoughts about moving to Arizona where the Spa Industry is booming! So I started looking for jobs and housing and the last week of January i had made a final decision to move to Arizona in June. Then it happened.... A friend of mine asked if she could set me up with her friends cousin, I graciously accepted. Why not right?! Well what I didn't know is my life would change that night!! We all met at the Cheesecake Factory (YUM) and then things just kinda clicked. We left everyone at dinner and headed to a dance, then we ended up talking for hours. From then on we've been inseparable.
Spencer and I have been dating for just over a month now and we are enjoying every moment we have together. He and I both just started new jobs last week, this is keeping us busy so we've make the most of anytime we get to see each other. I am now working at a Spa in Hillcrest called The Beauty and Body Lounge. Its a lot of fun and I'm grateful to be back in a spa! I'm a receptionist right now, but I finally decided to sign up for my California State Boards so I can get my Esthetic's License and start doing what I love again!! Spencer got a job as a technician for a Jason's Pest Control. He is loving his new job and I know he will do great!
About a week after Spencer and I started dating we had a new addition to our little family. My friend Erin has known I've been wanting a puppy for years and she let me know her mom's neighbors were giving puppies away. We went just to look and I instantly fell in love with Maxamillion. He was the runt of the litter, but man he was a fireball! We took him home and let me tell you I was scared of what mom and dad would think. Mom fell in love with him instantly! It took a little convincing for dad but now they're best buds! The first few weeks he was very dependent and he slept with me every night. He's growing so fast and he's got the cutest little personality. He is biting like crazy and I'm looking forward to when his baby teeth fall out and he's no longer a terror, but he can be the sweetest little thing!!
