So quickly it changes....

Oh man...... remember my last post about my new job?... well.... I may or may not have decided against that job after a few days of training... I was so excited for the opportunity to be able to have such an awesome job& to work with such fun girls!! Unfortunately mid training one day I just started feeling uneasy about the decision I had made. I have been really good at listening to my "gut" lately. My heart wasn't fully in the new job and I didn't see it fair to continue there if I wasn't 100%. So after some consideration I decided to take another route. I took my resume to a few salons in the Utah Valley and was hopeful that maybe something would come of it. The following day I got a call for an interview for a salon in Orem. I was very impressed with the front desk staff when I had gone into this salon & I was looking forward to the opportunity to interview. I went in the next day and I was BLOWN away when I got a full tour of the salon. It is a full service salon including: Mani's, pedi's, shellac, airbrush tanning, tanning beds, all esthetic services, massage and a fitness studio. after my initial interview we set up a working interview for the next week to meet with the salon owner who works behind the chair. needless to say I was super excited to have a second interview! I had a friend of mine come and be my model & the entire time I just felt so comfortable being there like I'd worked there before. The salon is soooooo similar to my salon in San Diego & I have missed Salon Bordeaux & all of my friendsies there, so it was nice to feel back at home even if it wasn't quite the same. After my client was all done I was able to chat with the salon owner and.... SHE OFFERED ME THE JOB!! We both agreed that it felt like a good fit and we were excited to move forward! So I will officially be taking clients for both Hair & Skin services at Season's Salon in Orem starting in September!! I feel like I have been blessed with so much since moving to Provo back in June & I am so grateful for the support of my family & friends. I would be so ungrateful if I didn't say that the Big Guy Upstairs isn't looking out for me. I am recognizing the tender mercies he has been sending my way daily. Speaking of tender mercies.... I recently have been graced with the presence of an AMAZING new friend in my life. Within a few weeks of meeting we became good friends and are now ROOMMATES. yes folks, its true. For the first time EVER I have a roommate IN MY ROOM with me! Being an only child I never really had to share my room... so i thought it would be a major adjustment. In all honesty.. I love it! I am actually kind of sad that its only temporary.. Jen will be moving to a room upstairs in October.. and I already miss her! I think that the big changes in my life... Things just keep getting better and better around here! I am SUPER excited for fall! BYU starts next week and that means Provo will be crawling with social activities! I am really looking forward to getting involved & meeting a ton of people! With my super cutie roommate & Ashley living with me now things are going to get crazy for sure!

I am soooooo stoked for Wesley to come visit with me & Ashley for 5 DAYSSSS!! oh man I can't believe i haven't seen that girl since May. ick. #toolong. #neveragain
